AM Guitar Repair

is a home-based, appointment-only, full service repair shop located in South Minneapolis, Minnesota. We service all guitars, basses, mandolins, banjos and ukulele.

Shop address is included in the confirmation email when you book an appointment with us. Appointments can be easily rescheduled or canceled using the confirmation email as well. To provide the highest level of service possible, we do not accept walk-ins. Please do not show up without an appointment.

I (Andrew ) am a trained looth with over 10 years of professional experience in guitar repair, maintenance, and setup. I’m also a proud graduate of the Red Wing Guitar Building and Repair Program.

Whether you're a gigging pro, a hobbyist, or just starting out, I offer reliable, detail-driven service tailored to your instrument’s needs. From precision fretwork to clean electronics and smooth playability, I treat every guitar like it’s my own.

I love almost every guitar I’ve seen and think there is something wonderful and unique about every single one of them. Each instrument is a testament to human ingenuity, engineering, and a history lesson all in one.
